Michael Larkin is a professional voice actor, composer, and media engineer known for his dynamic and enthusiast range. A lifelong storyteller, he composed and performed in an original musical as his college thesis—an early showcase of the creativity and versatility that defines his work today.
Voicing everything from gods and heroes to aliens and demons, over the past 20 years, Michael has brought countless characters to life.
His single voice audiobook production of Bruce Coville’s Never Trust a Demon (for which he performed all narration and dialogue, composed the music, and handled principle tracking) earned praise from AudioFile magazine for its "immersive soundscape" and "exaggerated tones that emphasize the larger-than-life quality" of the story. His work on The Entertainer and the Dybbuk (for which he co-wrote the music and voiced some minor characters) won the 2009 AudioFile Earphones Award.
Beyond the booth, Michael is an accomplished musician and on-air personality at Syracuse's TK99. His background in music production, composition, and live performance brings a unique musicality to his voice work—he understands pacing, rhythm, and how to create emotional resonance.
